The mission of the Goliath and friends children's books is to teach meaningful life lessons through stories that address bullying, bravery and friendship. One of the most important lesson learned in the Danny and Goliath book is to continue on when things may seem against you and scary.

A true representation of the series’ life lessons is the series’ illustrator, Danielle Bowman. Although autistic, the 15 year old has learned illustration with persistence and a belief in herself.  Dani, through her self-taught animation abilities, has become the Chief Creative Officer of Powerlight Studios (http://powerlight-studios.com/), an animation, illustration and graphic arts studio.

A second book has been released in the Goliath Book Series, the story of Richie & Goliath. Richie is a green sea turtle named after the co-author Richard Willich in reception of his generous donation to Keepers of the Coast (http://keepersofthecoast.org/), a sea turtle protection group. Richie is a sea turtle that Keepers of the Coast will be releasing and tracking for one year. If you are a fan of Danny and Goliath you will love Richie and Goliath as it teaches many of the same life lessons.

The third book of the Goliath Book Series is currently in the conceptual stages.  It is the story of Goliath and Izzy, a cattle herding dog.  Izzy, formally Queen Isabella of Picalata, is an Australian blue healer who lives and works on co-author Richard Willich’s farm in Florida.  Through the book Izzy and Goliath we will continue teaching children about overcoming bullying.
